Doug Backman, Douglas Backman



Doug’s robust marketing foundation started with the reputable Grey Worldwide advertising training program, followed by Foote Cone & Belding (Ad Age’s 1999 agency of the year), and culminated in New York City leading a team for FCB (Foote, Cone & Belding) on the AT&T Wireless account (named account review of the decade by the New York Times). While in the big agency arena he worked on blue chip accounts like Oral-B, Sun Microsystems, Lexus, AT&T, and Challenge Butter. Doug returned to Colorado in 2008 to launch DB Marketing, with the objective to bring the best of big-city marketing practices to Colorado businesses. Doug received a Bachelors degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado.
